4x5" Large Format Workshop in Brighton (2-days)
This workshop is currently booked out. There is a second workshop with spaces still available, one week after this one. Book it here.
Join photographers Dan Rubin and Jahan Saber for 2 full days of large-format photography in the lovely seaside town of Brighton, England.
Regardless of your experience level — even if you’ve never shot film before — this slow-paced workshop is for you. Using Intrepid 4×5 cameras and Ilford film, chemistry, and multigrade papers, Dan and Jahan will teach you everything you need to know about working with large-format, from loading film to camera movements, composition, focusing, exposure, printing, and more. We’ll also show you how to develop and print your film to demystify the process and demonstrate just how easy it is to do at home.
Film and equipment will be provided by Ilford and Intrepid for every attendee. Already have a large format camera? Bring it along! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or you are completely new to the world of large-format photography, you'll leave with knowledge, images, memories, and friendships.
Spaces are limited to 8 people.
